FAQ's about our Body Balancing Nutrition

General FAQs

Are there any other supplements I need to take?
As a fully-fledged nutritional practice, we will analyse your body’s chemistry to assess if there is any need for additional supplements. We specialise in hormonal control and adrenal support. Not all bodies are the same and so you may need some metabolic correction through natural prescription to optimise your body.
Am I expected to cook 6-7 meals per day?
Not if you don’t want to! Your day will consist of meals and snacks, and these can be as low preparation as you would like them to be. While a wide range of fresh food and vegetables is great for getting in nutrients, we can get great benefit out of some packaged foods. These options will be shown to you within your program.
Are there payment plans available?
Several payment options are available. Plans include (upfront) or fortnightly payments. These will be discussed in your Consultation

What if I have a question outside of our consultation sessions?
All practitioners want to see you succeed and are here to support you. Our practitioners are available to be contacted 24/7 via email or contacted via phone during clinic hours. Practitioners will endeavour to respond to your query ASAP.
I’m a busy person, will this program work for me?
Our practitioners will tailor their advice to suit your lifestyle.
Are there payment plans available?
Several payment options are available. Plans include (upfront) or fortnightly payments. These will be discussed in your Consultation
Do you accept Chronic Disease Management Plans?
Yes, if you’ve been allocated appointments to see a dietitian from your GP, we can pair you with one of our dietitians who support you throughout your plan.
Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral. Give us a call and we will be able to book you in for a initial consultation.
Will I be weighed?
Our InBody 570 Body Composition Analyser will monitor your progress in terms of water, fat, protein, muscle, bone mineral and more, allowing us to regularly monitor your level of body fat, lean muscle mass and muscular development, so you can understand how your BBN eating plan, lifestyle and training regime is influencing your overall body composition.
Do I need to prepare or bring anything to each appointment?
Your practitioner will let you know if you need to bring any items to your appointments and you will need to fast 2-3 hours before every appointment, so we are able to put you on the InBody composition scanner.

Are there recipes available as part of the BBN program?
Yes, we have a database of recipes available to you on our website, all designed to inspire and motive you.

Do I have to shop at specialty stores for the food you suggest?
No, all food we recommend can be purchased from most supermarkets.
I dine out a lot. Can I incorporate the Body Balancing Nutrition program?
Yes. The Body Balancing Nutrition program is easy and versatile. It is designed to fit into your lifestyle. You will find you will be able to dine out with ease.
Do I have to give up my favourite meals?
Your practitioner will help you learn about portion sizes and how to eat your favourite foods in moderation. While eating too much of anything may slow down your weight loss results, we will teach you how to make all of your favourite foods fit into your lifestyle.
Can I eat out while following the weight loss program?
Yes, you can still enjoy a nice balance with dining out whilst following the program and achieve results. While eating out too much can negatively impact your results, we believe having a balance between the two can still achieve great results. Your practitioner will provide you with recommendations and advice on this.
Can I have blowouts?
It is normal from time to time to have blowouts on alcohol, chocolate, dessert and alike. At Body Balancing Nutrition we recognise this is a natural part of life and therefore have food and behavioural protocols and tools that help you manoeuvre through these mine fields with ease and without guilt. This makes our program a lifestyle not a diet.
How much is a program?
We recommend programs based upon a variety of factors such as how much exercise you do, how much body fat you’d like to lose and previous dieting history. Clients have the option to paying for programs upfront or via fortnightly payments depending on your needs. We recommend calling the clinic on (08) 9388 1166 to book your consultation. During your appointment, one of our Wellness Consultants will recommend a program and provide you with costs depending on your individual needs.
Can you help me build muscle?
Yes, absolutely. Our practitioners can work with you to reach your goals whether it’s increasing muscle mass, burning body fat or improving general health & wellbeing!
Do I have to exercise?
You don’t have to exercise to be on a BBN program however exercise is beneficial for overall improved health. Body Balancing partner with Point Zero Studio in West Leederville. Please get in contact with the team at PZ and take advantage of the BBN discounts.
Is the program easy to follow?
As is the case with anything new, it can take a week or so to learn the methodology of the Body Balancing Nutrition program. After this time, it will become second nature and you will find it easy. Patients often comment on how easy the program is, that the whole family can follow it and it fits into their lifestyle with ease.

Highly recommend this program. I decided to go and try it for weight loss but mostly try to increase my metabolism and found out I wasn’t actually eating enough. I am now eating way more food than I ever had. The results were quick, I’ve gained more muscle and lost quite a bit of fat.

My wife Tania and I absolutely love BB. It has really assisted us in dropping off unnecessary kilos and the service from the staff is very special. We eat heaps and WHEN we really focus on following our plan the weight comes off very consistently. Minimal suffering for excellent outcomes. We have become used to eating this way and the body appears to really appreciate it. We had Brigette as our consultant and we can’t speak highly enough of her. Very positive but constructive as well.

Cannot rate my thoughts on body balancing high enough. Being pre menopausal and yo yo dieting I knew I had to find something to help me get rid of my excess weight for health and mental well-being. I have an interest in health and nutrition and knew this place was legitimate and not a quick fix. Liran is a wealth of knowledge of absolutely every aspect of health and is happy to help with anything. I joined with a friend and we have both lost over 12kg each in just over 4mnths. Thanks for making me realise I now have to eat different for my age and more often!
