At Body Balancing Nutrition, our team comprises highly qualified dietitians and nutritionists who bring a wealth of experience and a passion for health improvement. With a track record spanning over 15 years, our professionals have dedicated their careers to understanding and implementing the most effective strategies in nutritional science. Liran Maty

Senior Dietitian

Liran is a vibrant and passionate member of BBN. She is brilliant at empowering people and believes everyone has what it takes to make the right changes to become fitter, healthier and more energetic. Liran is a Clinical Dietitian specialising in Weight Loss for people with complex conditions and circumstances. With over 16 years’ experience in the wellness industry, Liran works closely with her clients to help identify areas where small, gradual changes make a huge difference. She enjoys finding creative solutions to motivate clients and make their health journey fun and easy. Liran has two children and understands the importance of time management and what it takes to help many of her clients make better choices with food while juggling their busy lifestyles.

Charlotte Clay

Nutritionist

Charlotte graduated as a Nutritionist in 2017. She has had a passion and interest in nutrition from a young age which started from an enjoyment of cooking healthy food. Charlotte believes in helping clients learn simple strategies to create a healthy and balanced diet that suits their lifestyle. She takes a holistic approach with her clients to help set up long term, sustainable changes to allow for long-term health benefits. Charlotte loves working at BBN as she enjoys supporting and motivating clients throughout their journey to achieve their goals and optimal health outcomes.

Alesia Whittaker

Reception/Client Care

Originally from Ireland, Alesia immigrated to Perth 9 years ago. Alesia has over 6 years' experience in admin and customer service roles. Alesia loves being able to help people and make them feel welcome with a friendly smile. Alesia has always had a keen interest in health and nutrition and enjoys promoting a health balanced diet with her two little girls.

Tanya has a diverse background in leadership across various sectors, consistently driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact—whether in the non-profit space or in guiding others toward better health. At BBN, she empowers clients to achieve lasting change through education, support, and real, nourishing food. Tanya brings a compassionate, values-driven approach to BBN, ensuring that each client receives personalised care and guidance. Her work is grounded in integrity, a client-first mindset, and a commitment to building strong, supportive relationships — helping clients feel empowered and fully supported on their health journeys.

Matthew Turner

Dietician
Matt is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, health enthusiast, and proud dad to his greyhound, Buddy! Like many, he was confused by the overwhelming amount of misinformation about food. This curiosity led him to pursue a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, where he learned to make informed nutrition choices grounded in intuition and science. Living with his grandmother during his studies gave Matt firsthand insight into the challenges of ageing, deepening his appreciation for the role of nutrition and exercise in long-term health. Matt takes a holistic and flexible approach to health, understanding that everyone is unique. By genuinely listening to each individual’s needs and goals, Matt aims to empower people to make small, sustainable changes that can make a significant difference over time. Matt is passionate about providing evidence-based, personalised solutions and guiding clients toward better health—one step at a time.

Meet Maria: Your Partner in Health and Wellness Maria’s journey began in a pharmacy, where she witnessed the effects of poor health and over-reliance on medication. This inspired her to become a Personal Trainer 15 years ago, focusing on empowering individuals to prevent illness through fitness. A motivational force in Kununurra, she leads outdoor one-on-one and group training sessions, emphasizing that health is not one-size-fits-all. As a Regional Officer in Community Sports, Maria highlighted the importance of group activities and staying active. Her commitment to health also encompasses nutrition, and her education in wellness coaching has deepened her holistic approach. Now part of the BBN team, Maria is excited to welcome new clients and introduce them to our transformative services. At our clinic, everyone deserves the chance to thrive.

Bridget graduated with a bachelor's in Nutrition in 2015 and has since dedicated her career to helping clients achieve their health goals, from general wellness and weight loss to enhancing exercise performance. With over five years of experience in the wellness industry, Bridget is particularly passionate about weight management, exercise nutrition, and post-partum nutrition. As a mother of two young children, Bridget understands the real-life challenges of balancing nutrition with a busy lifestyle. Highly recommend this program. I decided to go and try it for weight loss but mostly try to increase my metabolism and found out I wasn’t actually eating enough. I am now eating way more food than I ever had. The results were quick, I’ve gained more muscle and lost quite a bit of fat.

My wife Tania and I absolutely love BB. It has really assisted us in dropping off unnecessary kilos and the service from the staff is very special. We eat heaps and WHEN we really focus on following our plan the weight comes off very consistently. Minimal suffering for excellent outcomes. We have become used to eating this way and the body appears to really appreciate it. We had Brigette as our consultant and we can’t speak highly enough of her. Very positive but constructive as well.

Cannot rate my thoughts on body balancing high enough. Being pre menopausal and yo yo dieting I knew I had to find something to help me get rid of my excess weight for health and mental well-being. I have an interest in health and nutrition and knew this place was legitimate and not a quick fix. Liran is a wealth of knowledge of absolutely every aspect of health and is happy to help with anything. I joined with a friend and we have both lost over 12kg each in just over 4mnths. Thanks for making me realise I now have to eat different for my age and more often!
